I had my Stanford interview today with a 2007 alumni. She was a teacher before she went to GBS. I thought that the interview went very well and while I was relaxed and put together, it helped a lot that the woman interviewing me was very nice, thoughtful and helpful.
It was really all about getting to know more about the school and her getting a sense of me. There was no sense of drilling. I think it was my best interview out of the four I have completed. Of course, it doesn't mean anything, because no one seems to think that a good interview gets you an admit, but I definitely think that if I get dinged, it won't be for my interview performance.
Special thanks to the Clear Admit Wiki which helped me prepare for the questions asked. It was dead on and made me think through questions I hadn't been asked in prior interviews.
And now that the last interview is done, I am going to officially try to take a vacation from the BW Forums as well as the Harvard and HAAS blogs. I'm pretty sure I will be zapped from both and it doesn't help to keep reading about it.
I should hear from Georgetown and UDUB next week and Stanford results come out on April 2.
Here is to hoping and keeping my fingers crossed!
